Native to Aotearoa, Koromiko was traditionally chewed and applied as a poultice for nappy rash. Koromiko’s astringent action reduces weeping and aids healing by gently constricting tissues to form a protective barrier. This astringent action also makes it particularly useful to help reduce the inflammation associated with many skin conditions, as often experienced with nappy rash.

Calendula is infamous as a powerful blood cleanser and healing agent of the skin. Calendula flowers have antiseptic, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, and anti-bacterial properties. Promotes healing. This combination makes it extremely valuable in any skin condition. It is one of the best herbs for treating burns, cuts, abrasions and infections.

This balm has been created to soothe, hydrate and protect pēpi and all delicate skin types. Perfect to use for nappy rash or on any dry irritated skin including the scalp. There are no essential oils in this product making it suitable and safe for pēpi -3 months and all sensitive skin types.
